Job Advertisement: Farmer to Farmer Program for Agriculture Education and Training (F2F for AET)

Winrock International’s F2F for AET program in Guinea provides American volunteers to support the strengthening of agriculture and training at formal and informal education and training institutions across Guinea. The following positions are available for qualified candidate. All positions require computer proficiency and skills in English. The positions are based in Conakry with frequent travel throughout the country. These positions will also provide support to the Faranah-based Agriculture Education and Market Improvement Program (AEMIP).
F2F Country Director: The Country Director will be responsible for directing all aspects of implementation for F2F for AET program in Guinea and will provide leadership to achieve program objectives and targeted results. S/he will supervise field personnel and activities, liaise with local host organizations, develop Scopes of Work for volunteer technical assistance, and prepare work plans and reports. Minimum qualifications include: university degree in a field related to rural or agricultural development required, Master’s degree preferred; at least 8 years of experience in development programs, at least 2 of which were in a management role; experience implementing donor-funded programs (USG preferred); demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships; experience cooperating and collaborating closely with American consultants and volunteers strongly preferred. Spoken and written English language fluency is a mandatory requirement, including the ability to converse and write on agriculture-related technical topics.
M&E Officer: The M&E Officer will collect baseline and ODI data; compile and review training attendance sheets for assignments ensuring that all data is properly recorded; conduct impact surveying and assist with monitoring and reporting; and provide translation as needed. Minimum qualifications include: university degree in social science or relevant field; at least 3 years of experience conducting monitoring and evaluation in the public or private sector, preferably related to informal or formal agricultural education; and strong analytical skills. Demonstrated experience in project planning, monitoring and evaluation in USAID or USG funded project is highly desirable. English written and spoken skills are required.
